Our Ewedu is packed in kilogram. We usually harvest our ewedu at its prime so you get a high viscosity when you cook it. We also deliberately do not wash our vegetables to extend the shelf life in your refrigerator. Ewedu is also known as jute or molokhia leaves. Traditionally ewedu is believed to cure all, it is a folk remedy for stress, fever, dysentery, constipation and more.
Should you find some holes in our ewedu, please consider it as “our badge of honour”.
To cook ewedu remember life got a lot easier, so wash, strain, boil a little with cryfish, salt, plenty of locust beans then pour in your blender. Use the pulse setting to enable you get the right consistency. Voila, your ewedu is ready.
